Clipper Ship Cufflinks

The deep blue and and bone colours of these cuff links evoke the sea and scrimshaw carvings. Clippers were 19th century ships prized for their speed and were the chosen carriers for valuable goods like tea, spices and passengers. They also made excellent pirate ships, apparently.

Original image design is layered under a smooth glass gem with industrial adhesive (non-toxic when cured). Plated white metal hinged cufflink findings. Bead and icon size is approx 3/4" in diameter.
